So this July I am going on a trip to Eastern Europe, the legendary Eastern Europe Eurail Trip 2012 - EEET '12 ! As said before on my blogpost in January, I will hit Eastern Europe. The trip has been slightly adopted though.
I am going to travel from North to South (Poland - Croatia) or from South to North (Croatia to Poland), leaving July 3th - July 30th. I can't make up my mind which way I should travel.

Does anyone of you world travelers, festival goers, locals etc. got any suggestions or ideas concerning the countries, cities, trips, festivals, ... that are worth visiting?
I am hesitating between two option, that are influenced by festivaldates. One is starting north and hitting Heineken Open'er (Poland) continuing to the south... VS ... Starting in the south and hitting Exit Festival (Serbia) and continuering north.
Would it be bether to start in Poland or Croatia? And how do I get there the cheapest/fastest to start my trip from there?
The idea for now is:
03/04: departure to Poland (Probably Gdansk)
08-09: Recover from the festival + visit Poznán (PL)
09-11: Warshaw (PL)
MAYBE: Prague (CR)
23: Zagreb (Croatia)
26: Split (CR)
29/30: back to Belgium
Cities: Prague (CR), Salzburg and Innsbrück (Austria) are 'maybes', to be done when some cities on the list do not appeal to the group and will be skipped when time's short.
Thanks for your information and feel free to join me for the big Eastern Europe Eurail Trip 2012 - EEET '12!
