Last summer I saved up bigtime to be able to go to Argentina in January (at this moment more or less) but (as you can see) I ended up not going. I didn't book my ticket because I was going to go to the United States of America to work as an intern and do my internship to be able to finish my Bachelor degree, and I was going to need money for that. But that didn't work out either..
Soooooo, I have money! And I want to spend it travelling through Eastern-Europe in July 2012. I was thinking of going by train (Eurorail Pass) from Poland, all the way through Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria to -if possible- Turkey.
My idea for now in July is the '2012: Eastern Europe Eurorail Trip', also called (and invented by myself): the E E E T. And the trip would look like this:
03/04: departure to Poland (Probably Gdansk)
04-08: Heiniken Open'er Festival at Gdynia, Poland
08-09: Recover from the festival + visit Poznán (PL)
09-11: Warshaw (PL)
11-12: Krakow (PL)
13-15: Prague (Czech Republic)
15-17: Bratislava (Slovakia)
17-18: Vienna (Austria) (Bus from Bratislave to Vienna: should be around 15euros=cheaper than train)
18-20: Budapest (Hungary)
20-22: Zagreb (Croatia)
22-23: Belgrade (Serbia)
23-25: Sofia (Bulgaria)
26-28: Istanbul (Turkey)
28/29: back to Belgium
Why so long in Poland? Well, during my Erasmus I met three extremely nice Polish people and became good friends with them. Their culture already had my interest, but now that I know them, I want to get to know their country even better.
Why so short in Vienna? I've been there 4-5times already. I think the main parts can easily be done in one day and I'd prefer to visit 'new' and unknown places!
By this message I'm trying to find people who would be interested in joining me for (a part of) this trip, although I must stay clear on some details:
a) it's not sure that I am actually going to do this trip, in first instance I'm just looking for people who have experience with it/are interested in joining me.
b) I'm not going to travel with 20 people, sorry but I think a group of 4-5would be ideal, also for booking hostels, taxis etc. Which brings me to number three.
c) I have not got all the money in the world either, so I will most probably book hostels along the way, or camp if I'm going outside the bigger cities. So be prepared for at least one day without taking a shower.
d) If possible, I will trake night trains/ busses to make the travelling easier and save money by not paying hostels
e) The dates above or obviously just guide dates to more or less plan the whole trip, if I (or another member of the group) like the city, we can obviously stay longer, or leave directly if we don't like it.
f) If a date passes twice this means that on this day/night we'd be travelling from one city to another
e) This detail list is not terminated.

I really like your travel plans.. There is actually something true in the youtube video that you posted, which is the part about eastern europe being really cheap compared to Belgium (and Norway for that sake!). But the most expensive part is accomodation, so I would highly suggest CouchSurfing to make it even cheaper..
I should warn you though, that you might fall in love with Istanbul. I liked being there a lot this summer, and I thought 5 days there was a little too little, so I would advise you to spend at least a week. I can also hook you up with a good couchsurfing host there if you want;)
