Leaving Caïro on a Saturday morning was probably a good idea, since there was hardly any traffic when the taxi drove me to the Airport. A mere 100Egyptian Pound (11,5€) I was standing where the Egyptian Adventures started. Caïro Airport. Flying back to Belgium brought me back to reality. And here I am, back at work and everything continuing like nothing ever happened.
- All 15 members of the September15 Intrepid Travel Egypt Tour: Ty, Darcie, Catalina, Vladimir and Katarina, Jay, Jon, Omar, Michelle and Tony, Tony again (you Aussie Stallion Rider), my roommate James, Jo, Ian and Kim, coming from: Croatia, UK; New-Zealand, Australia and the US: for being awesome, having the best stories and just for randomly making this trip amazing. You changed me in so many ways. Oh, and thanks for waiting for me back in that weird road way station when I had to run for a toilet break.
- Cataline in special, for having a great blog about her one-year-around-the-world travels: Cata In The World and for simply telling me it is possible to work hard and have a proper time of sometime too
- Our guide Walid, for helping us out with everything, for just being a real fun guy/guide, and for knowing leterally everything about Egypt we ever asked him. Your arguments were valid!
- Mohammed Shams and his fiancee Nada for being an awesome host and having an amazing family and some cool, though sometimes too-Disney-World-fanish- frinds. #RennesUnion 2 was a complete success!
- All of Egypt, its population and its nature, for being the nicest, kindest and most pospitable nation I have ever been too. Except for you Husslers: fuckyou, although it felt nice to be in the center of attention sometimes. And for the beautiful nature, sand and River Nile, which you offered us for two weeks.
- The Pharaos, because without them I would've never come to Egypt to see the pyramids!
You were amazing. Shukran Egypt, Ins'Allah we shall meet again!
